Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Image Data: Our Vyka app utilizes a secure third-party Artificial Intelligence service (OpenAI) to analyze your meal photos in real-time and estimate nutritional values.
- What data is sent? Only the photos of meals or foods that you explicitly choose to take or import from your gallery.
- Who is this data sent to? To the third-party AI provider (OpenAI API).
- How and why is it used? The image is temporarily analyzed to identify foods and extract calories, protein, carbs, and fats. These providers do not use or store your images to train their models or for any other purposes. A one-time explicit consent is requested within the app before the first use of this feature.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
